Returns & Refunds Policy

What you should customize before publishing

For a startup selling this kind of product, a solid default would be:

  • 30-day return window

  • unused items only

  • customer pays return shipping unless item is damaged/defective

  • damaged item claims within 7 days

  • no direct exchanges at launch

That is clean and manageable.

 

Suggested version for your store settings

If you want a practical launch policy, use:

  • Return window: 30 days from delivery

  • Damage/defect reporting: within 7 days

  • Refund timing: 5–10 business days

  • Exchanges: not offered directly

  • Returns: unused items only

Commitment

At Atarax (“we,” “us,” or “our”), we want you to feel confident in your purchase. This Returns / Refund Policy explains when returns are accepted, how refunds are handled, and what to do if there is an issue with your order.

Return Window

We accept returns of eligible items within 30 days of delivery.

 

To be eligible for a return, the item must be:

  • unused

  • in its original condition

  • free from damage caused by use

  • returned in its original packaging, if possible

 

We reserve the right to deny returns that do not meet these conditions.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return unless they arrive damaged or defective:

  • used products

  • items damaged through misuse, modification, or improper handling

  • items that have been worn or used in a manner that creates hygiene or resale concerns

  • items showing signs of wear, sweat, odor, body oils, or other personal use

  • apparel, headwear, or accessories returned without original tags, if applicable

  • any item returned in a condition that is not suitable for resale

  • final sale or clearance items

  • custom or personalized items

How to Start a Return

To request a return, contact us at support@ataraxmovment.com within the return window and include:

  • your order number

  • the item(s) you want to return

  • the reason for the return

  • photos, if the item is damaged or defective

 

If your return is approved, we will provide return instructions. Do not send items back without contacting us first unless your checkout flow already supports self-service returns.

Return Shipping

Unless the return is due to our error or a damaged/defective item, customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

 

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law or unless the return is due to our error.

 

We recommend using a trackable shipping method for returns. We are not responsible for return packages lost in transit.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us at support@ataraxmovment.com within 7 days of delivery.

 

Please include:

  • your order number

  • photos of the product

  • photos of the packaging

  • a brief description of the issue

 

If we determine the item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, we may offer a replacement, refund, or store credit, depending on the situation and product availability.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.

 

If approved, your refund will be issued to the original payment method used at checkout. Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your payment provider or financial institution.

 

Refunds do not include:

  • original shipping charges, unless the return is due to our error

  • return shipping costs, unless the return is due to our error

  • any non-returnable items

Exchanges

At this time, we do not offer direct exchanges.

 

If you would like a different item, please return the eligible item in accordance with this policy and place a new order.

Refused or Undeliverable Packages

If a package is refused or returned to us as undeliverable, we may issue a refund minus any original shipping charges and any return shipping or carrier fees incurred, unless the issue was caused by our error.

Order Cancellations

Orders may only be canceled if they have not yet entered processing or shipment.

 

If you need to request a cancellation, contact us immediately at support@ataraxmovment.com. We cannot guarantee cancellation once an order has been placed.

Product Use and Condition

Because the Atarax Inserts™ are training equipment, returns are limited to products in unused condition unless there is a defect or shipping issue. Items showing signs of wear, use, modification, or misuse may not be eligible for return.
